I'm John McPhedran
and I know how frustrating it is to learn German. I spent years stuck in the beginner phase, overwhelmed by grammar and unable to speak with confidence.
In my first year in Germany, I couldn’t get unskilled work because I lacked the language skills.
It was isolating.
No matter how well Germans speak English, they still speak German to each other. I felt like I was always on the outside, trying to keep up but never quite fitting in.

Now, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend diving into grammar books, but I needed to understand the system behind it all.
